Notes from the builder

Had a lot of fun with this build and centered it around the 24Yep Starry Night Meus v2 Axles. Wanted a color combo that would go with the axles. As for the build itself...I originally tried to use the robskiifab skid with the Athos chassis, but it didn't line up to my liking so I used the included skid. I also swapped the Tire/Wheel combo a few times and ended up going with a used Mofo UPW Black with Orange Bread rings set on Injora tires (you might see different combos in the build pics). I bought the Salty Micro Barwork bundle for this and printed it with PLA+. Absolutely love it with the Salty (remixed) Suzuki Jimny body. I scaled everything down 95% to fit the chassis better. Then I painted with Tamiya Black, let it dry, and then a Blue over it, sanded it randomly for character and aging. Put some dust/mud on it with Tamiya weathering kit. Used Acrylic Paint markers for the fuel cell in the back. I also used a magnetic in the middle of the fuel cell for mounting. Used RC Steve links in Gold Flame and I love them on this build. Picked up a Yep Edition NSDRC RS100 servo, using a 3Flow9RC Servo Horn because I enjoy the look and performance. Also using the 3Flow9RC Steering Links for the Meus V2 axles. This is my first time using RC Steve links and they are super nice (Gold Flame). Will definitely order more from RCS in the future. For the transmission, I can't recall exactly where I got it as I don't see it in my eBay history and don't remember if it was from a swap...however, it doesn't have the LGRP logo like other MR24 transmissions. Could be a knock off?
